This twelve-week group project sought to understand adult Americans’ motivation to be physically active during COVID-19, with the added stress of social distancing + work-from-home culture. As a group, we gathered information through surveys, interviews, + ethnographies. We analyzed this data + developed user personas, journeys, + affinity diagrams to uncover seven key insights.
Our app + website would offer a holistic approach to promoting physical well-being, providing users with comprehensive information on the benefits of regular exercise + the risks associated with a sedentary lifestyle. A user-friendly website would guide individuals through diverse exercise routines while emphasizing the crucial link between mental health + physical activity to establish a healthy work-life balance. Additionally, users could track their goals, monitor their weight, estimate calories burned, + log their food.
