Smarter Social Media is an interactive workbook I wrote that teaches kids about influencers, algorithms, + misinformation while emphasizing the importance of social media literacy. Divided into two parts, it includes easy-to-follow instructions for parents/educators + fun exercises for kids, linking to QR codes for online content + the option to use Kahoot! for live online lessons. By using Smarter Social Media, kids will gain the knowledge + tools needed for positive + responsible online interactions, promoting a more empathetic + ethical online community.
